Ethiopian Chamber of Sectoral Associations, ECSA

Board of Directors

As per Proclamation No. 341/2003, The congress is mandated to elect Board of Directors. All Chambers of Sectorial Associations is supposed to hold regular meeting once in a year and conduct election every two year.

The Board has the following Powers and duties:
To ensure the implementation of the decisions of the Council;
To employ and dismiss the Secretary of the Chamber;
To decide on the employment and dismissal of the heads of departments and services of the Chamber, submitted to it by the Secretary;
To call through the president extraordinary meetings of the Council as it deems necessary or when one third of the members of the council demand;
To submit annual budget and work program of the Chamber to the Council;
To decide on matters submitted to it by the Secretary;
To establish Different committees to assist the Board in carrying out its duties;
To perform such other duties as are necessary for the
